Thanks Deaglan, I hope Kneecap continue to hold truth to power.

It’s long overdue for bands / groups to be the voice of the people.

Thanks for this deaglan, I did not know much about kneecap until this week and this article has opened my eyes a little bit. Seems they will always be persecuted by the Brits, they are terrified of them.

UK Govt ignoring the genocide, ironically moaning about lads whose recent ancestors were also deliberately starved to death.

Kneecap have enough of a platform now to embarrass Westminster and expose its hypocrisy in the eyes of millions of young people—it's brilliant. They're also ballsy enough to do it.

Be interesting to see how the British authorities treat the lads when they arrive on mainland UK for their gigs, bearing in mind the amount of agro that has come down on the heads of journalist and academics who have publicly highlighted Israel’s genocide in Gaza. I'm guessing, now that Kneecap are so big Starmer and co will think twice before making a mistake that would only go to highlight British government hypocrisy.

Good job Kneecap

Just read that Kneecap ARE under investigation by UK counter-terrorism police - I’m just pasting here what a quick search found :

If the counter-terrorism unit finds that Kneecap’s remarks constitute support for a proscribed organization such as Hamas or Hezbollah, the band members could face serious legal consequences under UK law. Specifically: It is a criminal offence under Section 12 of the Terrorism Act 2000 to belong to, invite support for, or recklessly express support for a proscribed terrorist organization.

Conviction can lead to a maximum sentence of up to 14 years in prison and/or an unlimited fine.

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) would decide whether to bring charges based on the police investigation.

The band could be prosecuted for glorifying terrorism or inciting violence, which carries significant penalties

This could have deep political repercussions.

they're not bad lads, they will be okay I think.

They made silly comments while pissed at a gig.

They'll have good counsel.

Hope so - but I wouldn't trust British 'justice' when there's an Irish dimension. Guildford Four, Birmingham Six and Maguire Seven come to mind.

As I was saying before I so rudely interrupted myself …

Great article Deaglan.

But I don’t think this is really about Israel. It’s more about the ‘Israel’ in the British political system (and the French and the German and ..).

This foreign involvement is to the British government - of any hue - what Walsingham was to Queen Elizabeth I; the power behind the throne - at least as far as anything to do with Israel/the US is concerned. Until we confront that monster in our midst nothing will change.

Despite the heroic efforts of those like Kneecap.

They’re a great act, they made a fine film and I cannot wait to see them live (in London) next month. And it is disgusting that the UK government are more offended by their words than Israel’s actions.

Odd that you chose not to address those words though. About Hamas, about Hezbollah, about dead Tories. Kneecap have, and have apologised, while pointing out the hypocrisy of a media machine trawling hours of footage to find something offensive. But their words were offensive and a gift to the right wing press. They’re better than that. I guess they had no idea how big they’d become but it’s a shame to see them misrepresented while their legitimate points get buried. At least they’ve been able to respond and respond well.

'Odd that you chose not to address those words though.'

Because, and I have to be quite frank here, I don't care about those words. When put next to a live-streamed, ongoing genocide—I can't bring myself to even pretend to care that a couple of young artists made silly comments

I love Kneecap, I know them well and support them wholeheartedly.

Fuck Tories, fuck Israel and fuck the status quo which allowed such entities to exist.

In order to understand the misanthropic/ satanic behavior of today's UK government and Windsor-Family (also against their own citizens), one would have to know the somewhat longer British history that is not known to many people. The question is: Who governs the UK, and in whose interests?

What should you know about GB governments, King Charles & the Windsor family - and the other leading dark forces that control them & strive to establish their satanic NWO? https://mile7bar.substack.com/p/king-charles-iii-and-the-windsor

The UK government that is doing this, is where it is only because the genocidal Israeli regime engineed an equally fictional gaslighting campaign to remove Jeremy Corbyn and his supporters.

So that tells pretty much everything you need to know. The genocidal regime is in control of its puppets at 10 Downing and in Westminster.
