While I don't celebrate any of these so-called Holidays, Thanksgiving was the one that I would visit a family member just for the food, but you know what, this year and every year from now on, I will follow suit as you have suggested. It was hard enough to wrap my brain around the original event that this day was really about, but I would succumb to the pressure. Now, you have given me more than a good reason to say "NO THANKSGIVING" for me. We may not be able to stop these mad men from continuing to commit genocidal acts, but we can silently protest in our own way. If the US true to its supposed beliefs in freedom and democracy and justice, it would not be supporting Israel and the troops it sends there would not be helping the Israelis but instead, stopping their atrocities.
