I, for one, am tired of being cannon fodder for Big Oil and the rest of the oligarchs in their war against the rest of humanity to preserve the failed capitalistic system. These parasites are out to destroy us out of their unrestrained greed and lack of concern for anybody except themselves. Exterminating all of them would be a service to humanity.
It's not incorrect to say that the precipitous decline in the the strength of the magnetosphere due to the ongoing pole shift results in a marked increase in radiation and solar particle forcing of the atmosphere. It's established science. Compared to the giant star above our heads, human interference is minimal, which is not to say that we mustn't be good stewards of the earth, but galactic cycles and events beyond our control will do their thing, regardless.
