This is why the ADL is a joke. Accepting the Nazi salute from an idiot savant billionaire who is a racist is outrageous when a peon gets tarred for simply supporting the Palestinian people. Did you notice how quickly this pitiful ADL forgave Musk as if he had an arm cramp? Let some poor slob stiff arm. The Jews would go apoplectic; It's perfectly fine to dine with Nazis, eat Palestinian fetus pate on Monday, and be a float in Tel Aviv on Tuesday. And then Bibi blesses your swastika with Palestinian baby blood and awards the Star of David Service Medal. The Jews CANNOT play cosies with rich Nazi-supporting maniacs and denigrate poor folks who want a little justice. Have they forgotten that the same people who machine-gunned them use the same salute? It makes them look like what they are: Phonies, frauds, and fakers. The Jews and the Evangelical Christians are precisely the same. They will drop every decent tenant of their so-called religions and make a deal with Satan to achieve narrow goals. In one case, banning abortion; in the other, ethnic cleansing. It's a pretty sad commentary on their supernatural metastases.

Indeed. Agreed. Excellent insights to accompany and support your statements on this subject. Truly dismaying times in which we find ourselves, which seem destined to become even more foreboding as Trump’s reign of terror progresses.

I actually think it's much ado about nothing. Elon is a basket case narcissist and is only embolden by the folks who see him and is platform as some sort of free speech vehicle. To me it would have been more concerning if all the people there stood up and saluted him back the same way. As a lone basket case spoiled brat who gives out blue-checks and takes them back during his temper tantrums, he is really no threat in my view. Now if he had yelled, Hail Hitler, and pointed towards The Trumpster, well, we would certainly have a problem. Other than that, he's just a jumping bean who loves center stage and thinks his mega bucks makes him the unquestionable king of Lord Of the Flies. In the meantime, it's the responsibility of the people to do the right thing, and not follow suit like brainless automatons needing a reboot to get more wrinkles in their brains.

Back in Catholic Grade School the nuns used to always tell us, "Empty barrels make the most noise."

Don't forget that The Trumpster has an enormous ego, and Elon may try to steal the stage but it ain't gonna happen.

This person has a very public platform and whispers in Trump's ear, you can't excuse this as a "one off", this is being normalized in the media in the US and in politics.

It may be a narcissistic man-child making the Nazi salute but it sent a message to the Nazi and pro-Nazi groups that support Trump and, worse, with the help of the media it will be played down and normalized. More and more Nazi and Nazi-like things will be normalized as "just coming from the man-child" and "don't take Trump seriously". Then one day, perhaps in four years, the pundits will be saying, "we didn't see that coming".

Lordy Be, are we that lost in the woods? If so that is the real problem. It's as if folks don't have agency enough to see through the BS. Or maybe they are just that uneducated. When my mother was in school this is how she saluted the flag. There are so many really troubling things going on in our world, this is just comical to me.

We are looking at a symptom of a much bigger problem. https://open.substack.com/pub/topicsfromatoz/p/elon-musk-and-the-problem-with-hero

"Americans had no problem with the Bellamy Salute and rendered it proudly until the days before World War II, when Italians and Germans began showing loyalty to dictators Benito Mussolini and Adolf Hitler with the disturbingly similar “Heil Hitler!” salute". https://www.thoughtco.com/why-americans-gave-the-bellamy-salute-3322328

No cooperation - no silent acquiescence - no collaboration. Only resistance, opposition, and undermining the fascist agenda wherever it appears. We can all do our parts.

Musk has no filters and X is now re-made in his image which is why it is such a cesspit of right-wing rage, outright lies and conspiracy theories. Musk and his ilk are all significantly emboldened by Trumps re-election. They no longer stand in the shadows but delight in coming to the front, letting the world know what they think using their money, social media, legacy media and political allies to protect and promote them. I can only hope that enough people can see through what these people are and in whose interests they work. Until then we must all continue to call them out wherever and however we can until something much better is available to get behind.

I think the thing is, given his recent rhetoric and backing of certain entities and groups in Europe—it's just really questionable that he chose that specific gesture. I didn't even realise this is only half of the video. He does it twice in the original, once before turning around to the flag and doing it towards the flag. I'll update the article with that vid

Yep, I’ve looked at this again and think this was a Nazi salute. I now can’t see this any other way from a man who supports Germany’s AFD and wants Robinson released from jail along with his support of other far-right groups. He is a consummate attention seeker of the worse kind. Crikey, it’s only Trump + 3 😱

If it’s ok for him is it ok for us then? Shall we all do it at our next pro Palestine demo and see what happens? No of course not because it’s a disgusting display of nazi racism. I bet no one ran from the room saying they felt unsafe like they do around Palestine flags and children’s pictures on hospital walls.

What a joke these people gaslighting the public yet again as if we are stupid. Not a shred of integrity between them. They are spitting on their ancestors graves.

Take a look at a Nazi salute before you criticize me.There are plenty of pictures to look at from Nazi Germany. STOP being a sheep.

This may have been a half-heated attempt but it is not what you say.
