bi-weekly digest | a rebrand for the IDF and a massive week for the Magazine.
everything wrapped up nicely for you.
Good day, spectators,
What a week it’s been for the magazine! I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for reading and sharing the publication recently. Because of you, we’ve grown by 1,000 subscribers in just the past week alone. That means we’re now only 150 away from hitting 2,000 informed, engaged spectators.
When I first started this three months ago I never have imagined it would grow more than a couple of dozen of my close friends and family. It was just a place to air my thoughts and frustrations about our world. Now, it’s slowly becoming something and I get stage fright thinking that this email will go out to a couple of thousand people. (Only half-joking there.)
Anyway, I will keep writing as long as you keep reading and sharing and for our new readers, welcome to the bi-weekly digest. I don't send out all of my articles as emails so this is a place where you can catch up with anything you might have missed in the past few weeks.
latest:
Big changes are happening, and I’ve chosen myself to announce a bold new rebrand for a certain military force we’ve all heard of. No, but in all seriousness. It’s time we stop calling them by their old name and start using one that better fits their actions. Curious? Read above to find out what we’re calling them now.
in case you missed it:
Pretty sure that no one missed this one in the past week. This one is not just another article—it’s a depressing, neverending, growing list of Israel’s war crimes, updated daily. From Gaza to Lebanon, the atrocities keep piling up and our governments do little to nothing. If you think you’re already informed, think again. This record will shock you, and it’s only getting longer. Click above to see the full list.
A well-known, smiling U.S. presidential candidate claims ‘justice has been served,’ even as hundreds of thousands of civilians are killed and displaced. How far can this Orwellian double-speak go? Read the full breakdown of this shocking statement and its dangerous implications.
that’s all for today.
That’s all for the digest. Let me know if there’s anything else you think we should be talking about. I’ve set up a chat for the spectacle community here for that purpose. There, we can discuss and share developments, things which mainstream news snubs but which is so relevant to all of us on this earth. Currently, I am working on a proper rundown of the humanitarian and societal collapse which we are witnessing in Sudan at the moment to help everybody further their understanding. I’ve yet to see one big, western news source talking about it. And that’s what the spectacle is.
the spectacle is free and always will be. But it’s growing faster than I ever imagined and has now become a full-time job—researching, verifying, and writing multiple high-quality editorials each week takes time. To be honest, I rely on the kindness of readers to keep the magazine going. Wading through the dark side of our world regularly is taxing on the soul, so if you’d like to help me keep going, consider buying me a shawarma sandwich for just $3 by clicking below. As a young and new writer, your support makes more of a difference than you might think.
(I know not everyone is in a financial position to make donations to creators they appreciate—I’ve been there. So if you can’t, just know you’re already supporting me by reading, commenting, liking, and sharing. Thank you for being here.)
Thank you all again, it’s still unbelievable to me that you are all on this journey with me!
It feels unreal,
